Chris Wallace

Trails Director

Chris started riding bikes on Vancouver Island around the year 2000, but his first singletrack was probably on the Trail-a-Bike behind Dad's 90's Raleigh a few years before that...

In 2008, Chris began building and maintaining trails with the South Island Mountain Bike Society (SIMBS), and since then has become obsessed with trying to carve flow out of the dirt and rocks. A Kamloops resident since 2017, he's still learning how to 'Trust the Dust', but there's nowhere he would rather be!

Starting in 2026, Chris looks forward to keeping the Batch and Stake Lake trails we all love running smoothly as they continue to evolve and grow.

Please reach out to him any time with your trail ideas, maintenance issues, or if you want to get your hands dirty!

When not out exploring the Thompson Valleys, you'll find Chris earning a living with his head in the clouds (Azure & AWS, that is).
